Who We Are

OUR VISION

To bring people to Jesus and Jesus to people throughout major cities. Breaking perceptions and influencing society through building an irreligious church and not-for-profit organization that connects people to a passionate relationship with God and their God given purpose.

OUR MISSION

To push into dark places, to own and influence space that the church has never owned or influenced. Displaying the love of God practically and daily through in and out of the box expressions.

People Church Cultural Values

Every Church and believer share the same mandate in the great commission found in Matt 28. The unique way that each Church goes about fulfilling that commission is what makes each Church different and an expression of the greater body. The cultural values listed are not an exhaustive list of beliefs rather a short list of focus. Each of these values are tied to biblical truths, they are not simply guiding principles to building the Church but also permeate deeper to our Mondays as we build our lives and walk out the call to ministry in workplaces and homes throughout cities. Matthew 28:18-20 'Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”'

Line in the Sand

We believe humanity is defined by moments where we draw a “Line in the Sand.” For a new believer, baptism is a “Line in the Sand” - a spiritual rebirth, a personal consecration, and an external declaration of an internal commitment to follow Jesus Christ.

”Peter replied, ‘Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’” Acts 2:38

Lampstand

We believe we’re not placed randomly—we’re planted purposefully. Every workplace, classroom, café, and friend group is holy ground when you carry the light of Jesus. Evangelism isn’t reserved for the stage; it’s lived out in stories, tables, and everyday conversations. We don’t hide the light—we own our space, share our story, and make the invitation. Jesus said we’re a lamp on a stand—so we don’t shrink back. We party with purpose, gather with intention, and lean into relationships with eternity in mind. Transformation starts with proximity, and revival begins with invitation.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden… Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.” Matthew 5:14–15

“Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” Mark 5:19

Stack Sundays

Consistency over intensity. We believe transformation doesn’t happen in the occasional, but in the everyday. That’s why we prioritize Sundays—not as spectators, but as contributors. Week after week, every given Sunday, we gather in faith, worship with passion, and build a culture where God moves through real people with real stories walking in a real relationship with Jesus. We don’t just come for something—we come with something: our faith, our hunger, our praise, our expectancy. One Sunday may feel small, but stacked over time, Sundays shape a life, build a church, and shake a city.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25

“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord will flourish in the courts of our God.” Psalm 92:13

High Resolution Vision

It is no secret that we are most effective when “aiming at the same goal” Vision in Church has too often been dwindled down to a worldly leadership value adopted by modern day Churches in some sort of straying from the deeper things of the kingdom. The truth is the bible has a lot to say about vision, about our ability to see clearly and in alignment with God's promises, principles and purposes. It speaks to everything from our personal lives and the lost that he is calling us to reach. The sharper the vision the stronger both the mission and the believer who is called to carry it to completion.

“Then the Lord replied: ‘Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.’" Habakkuk 2:2

Heart over Gift

We believe that character should exceed any ability, talent or gift. While we are tempted to look at the outward appearance, God sees the heart. Throughout the bible we see it's not the size of the sacrifice but the posture of the heart that offers it which determines how pleasing, if at all it is to God. This is not to say that capability or capacity do not have a place, God made us uniquely gifted and called for a purpose. The gift is only as impactful as the heart that stewards it.

“But the Lord said to Samuel, ‘Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.’” 1 Samuel 16:7

Growth Over Comfort

Growth is an ideal that we often accept rather than embrace, it's the uncomfortable constant that we are forced to deal with and most often chose to avoid. We are choosing to embrace it, to tackle it head on, why? Because it's our mandate as believers to grow from infancy in the faith to spiritual maturity. Because Sundays are not best defined by “us all and no more”. In order to see the more that we are called to experience and lead people towards it requires us to grow. So don’t be surprised if we push towards growth and shape our decisions around it.

“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13-14

“If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23

The Bottom Line

The Church exists to worship God, equip the saints, feed the sheep, and reach the lost. We love to build the local Church and believe it is every believer's mandate to belong to and build the local Church. In doing so we partner with God in what he is doing on earth. We reap the benefits of being part of the body of believers. We believe that the Church will not be built on the hard work or commitment of a few or through distant connection but through proximity and faith.

”They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:42-47

“And He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11-12

We Live By: ‘Why Not?’

There is a choice to be made, to lower our theology to the level of our experiences or to elevate and challenge our experiences by the level of our theology. We don’t care that growing healthy Churches are not often found in dense cities, we do not let the precedent be the director of our vision. We believe God at his word and use his word to shape the very things we are believing for. So in short, you will see us run boldly into the face of the odds with the audacity that God will do what hasn't been done before

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31

Runs In The Blood

We give because it's who we are—sons and daughters of a generous Father. Generosity isn’t a practice we visit occasionally; it’s a legacy we live out daily. From the tithe to the offering, we carry the spirit of heaven—lavish, joyful, and sacrificial giving. It’s not an obligation; it’s inheritance. The cross was generosity in full display, and we respond by making generosity the rhythm of our lives. Tithing is trust. Giving is worship. Sacrifice is in our DNA. Why? Because it runs in the blood.

“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts...” Malachi 3:10

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21

“They gave according to their means… and beyond their means, of their own accord.” 2 Corinthians 8:3

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:7

Our Beliefs

  • The Holy Bible, and the only Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is God-inspired, infallible, and inerrant. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26)

  • There is one god, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal. (I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35;  Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11)

  • Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind, and thus atoned for our sins through the shedding of his blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory. (John 1:1,14, 20:28; 1 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Philippians 2:5-6; 1 Timothy 2:5)

  • Man was created good and upright, but by voluntary transgression he fell; his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21)

  • We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22)

  • Repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Jesus, which allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Thus, through repentance, we receive forgiveness of sins and appropriate salvation. (Acts 2:21, 3:19; 1 John 1:9)

  • Given at pentecost, it is the promise of the father, sent by Jesus after His ascension, to empower the church to preach the gospel throughout the whole earth. (Joel 2:28-29; Matthew 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 1:5, 2:1-4, 17, 38-39, 8:14-17, 10:38, 44-47, 11:15-17, 19:1-6)

  • The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of Jesus' Great Commission. Every person who is born of the spirit is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers. There is spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23; John 17:11, 20-23)

  • It is the Father's will for believers to become whole, healthy, and successful in all areas of life. But because of the fall, many may not receive the full benefits of God's will while on Earth. That fact, though, should never prevent all believers from seeking the full benefits of Christ's provision in order to better serve others.

    1. SPIRITUAL
    (John 3:3-11; 2 Cor. 5:17-21; Romans 10:9-10)
    ‍2. MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL
    (2 Timothy 1:7, 2:11; Phili. 4:7-8; Romans 12:2; Isaiah 26:3)

    3. PHYSICAL
    (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24)
    ‍4. FINANCIAL
    (Joshua 1:8; Malachi 3:10-11; Luke 6:38; 2 Corin. 9:6-10; Deut. 28:1-14; Psalm 34:10, 84:11; Phil.4:19)

  • Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after his death on the cross. In addition, both the saved and the lost will be resurrected; they they are saved to the resurrection of life and they that are lost to the resurrection of eternal damnation. (Luke 24:16, 36, 39; John 2:19-21, 20:26-28, 21:4; Acts 24:15; 1 Corinthians 15:42, 44; Philippians 1:21-23, 3:21)
